NW10 - A garden for evening use

W10 - A garden using artifical turf

The aim with this garden was to create a pleasant area in which the client could relax after work. The existing grass was to be removed, as it was impractical in such a small space, and the client wanted more patio area on which to place chairs, a table and a barbeque. The design used a palette of white, blues and purples to create a practical yet attractive area which would appear to best advantage in the evenings (blues, whites and purples are colours which are picked up well in low light levels).

NW10 - A garden for evening use
The aim with this garden was to create an attractive, low maintenance area which would be suitable for family life. The client has two young children, and wanted an area of lawn for them to play on. Grass in such a small area would have been extremely impractical, but artificial turf seemed a very logical solution. This installation has been taking place gradually over the summer, and the planting will take place in Spring 2007.
